Now Accepting Applications: $10,000 Grants for Sustainable Textile Innovation

NYFIC is now accepting applications for our fifth and final scheduled round of $10,000 Sustainable Textile Innovation Grants. Applications close January 6, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Awards will be announced in early spring 2027. Applicants may apply through one of two funding tracks:

Adaptive Fashion Innovation Grants

Design for EVERY BODY.

NYFIC will award six grants of up to $10,000 to support innovations that make fashion more inclusive, sittable, wearable, accessible, fashionable, and functional for people with disabilities. The program welcomes projects focused on adaptive apparel, manufacturing, technologies, retail experiences, and business models that improve both the accessibility and wearable nature of the garments.

Applications are anticipated to open in January 2027.
