GRANTS CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY

NYFIC affiliates and their organizations are not eligible to receive a NYFIC grant. No person listed on the NYFIC website as part of the Team, or in a leadership role (including but not limited to board member or president) in any of the six NYFIC member organizations, or in any of these roles in the six months before the NYFIC application deadline, may be the project lead for an NYFIC grant. No firm, company, association, corporation, or organization that is an NYFIC member, or that has as a board member or president any person in the aforementioned roles, may receive an NYFIC grant.

RPI employees, board members, and their organizations are not eligible to receive a NYFIC grant. No NYFIC grants may be given to any firm, company, association, corporation, or organization in which a member of RPI’s Board of Directors or other governing body, or any officer or employee of RPI, or a member of the immediate family of any member of the RPI Board of Directors or other governing body, officer, or employee of RPI, has any ownership, control, or financial interest. For purposes of this paragraph, “ownership” means ownership, directly or indirectly, of more than five (5) percent of the assets, stock, bonds, or other dividend- or interest-bearing securities; and “control” means serving as a member of the board of directors or other governing body, or as an officer in any of the above.
